Insomnia

   Since ’97 I’ve been hit with long stints of insomnia. Mostly I’d say it’s induced by stress but occasionally there’s absolutely no reason I can think of that keeps me up. I’ve gone with the sleep therapist and even the sleeping pills everything seems to me to be a superficial fix. Nothing seems to do the trick, so what’s a girl to do?

Well, in my case, I paint or at least try to. Recently I’ve taken up painting and so when I can’t sleep instead of staring at the walls and driving myself mad I paint. 

  

 This was something I worked on tonight. The problem is it’s 2am and I’m still not tired so what to do?
